Disallow Physgun.

Some of you new map makers may be thinking to yourself “How can I stop players from moving buttons etc” well in this tutorial you'll find out how.

The first thing is to know what you don't want players to move this can be something as simple button to something more complex like a train. I'm going to be using it on a button for my lift in a map that is yet to be released. First thing to do is locate your object and double click it, a window should pop up like this:

To be able to add gmod_allowphysgun you must click the “SmartEdit” button that has been circled in the above picture, this will then change the window to look like the following:

Now you must click the “Add” button which has been circled in the image above. This should have brought up yet another window which looks like this:

Now you add gmod_allowphysgun in the “Key” field, and 0 in the “Value” field like I have below:

Now you click “OK” and this should add it to the list on the first window that appeared:

That's about it, all you have to do is click “OK” and now your button can't be moved in Gmod by a physgun.
